Sukkos

Sukkos bears the “nick-name” of yom simchaseinu -- the time of our joy -- and that’s the spirit that overflows at the annual Horeini Simchat Sukkot Party. Each year, dozens of Horeini students, their friends and family gather in the inviting Sukkah of Rabbi and Mrs. Chaim Horowitz in Flatbush.

There the magic of the Sukkah takes hold: Outside under the make-shift roof, the food tastes better, the music sounds sweeter and the speaker’s inspiring words of Torah truly reach the heart. In this special atmosphere of warmth and friendship, all the elements combine to create an experience that lives up to Sukkos’ “nick-name.”
