Purim

We all joined in the spirited celebration of the Jewish calendar’s most festive day of the year. Costumes, food, drink, laughter and fun were the order of the day that marked a startling reversal of fortunes engineered by G-d for the Jews of Persia so many centuries ago.

This was the time of year especially designated for joy, so we grabbed a portion, and while we were at it, learned something enlightening from our special Purim speaker.

The party took place after Megillah reading at the home of Rabbi and Mrs. Lerman in Boro Park.
